DESCRIPTION
TGP Spironolactone Tablet 25 mg is a potassium sparing diuretic and aldosterone antagonist. It works by promoting the excretion of excess sodium and water while retaining potassium, helping reduce fluid buildup and lower blood pressure. It also counteracts the effects of aldosterone, a hormone that causes salt and water retention.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of edema (fluid retention) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease
• Treatment of heart failure (to improve survival and reduce hospitalization)
• Management of hyperaldosteronism
• Prevention or treatment of low potassium levels (hypokalemia) caused by other diuretics
• Management of certain hormonal conditions, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults:

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not use if allergic to spironolactone
