DESCRIPTION
TGP Valsartan Film Coated Tablet 160 mg contains valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It lowers blood pressure by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes vasoconstriction and fluid retention. By relaxing blood vessels, valsartan improves blood flow and reduces strain on the heart.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of heart failure, as prescribed
• Reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in appropriate patients
• May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents

DOSAGE
