DESCRIPTION
ULCEP Cimetidine Tablet 400 mg contains cimetidine, a histamine 2 (H₂) receptor antagonist. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach, thereby helping to relieve acid related disorders and promote healing of the gastric and duodenal mucosa.

USES
• Treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers
• Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Relief of symptoms associated with acid indigestion and heartburn
• Treatment of Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory conditions
• Prevention of stress related gastric bleeding, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Commonly 400 mg twice daily or 800 mg once daily at bedtime, depending on the condition being treated
