DESCRIPTION
PANCORE Pantoprazole Enteric Coated Tablet 40 mg contains pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach by blocking the gastric proton pump. The enteric coating ensures the tablet dissolves in the intestine, protecting the medicine from stomach acid and improving effectiveness.

USES
• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Management of erosive esophagitis
• Treatment and prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers
• Management of Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and other acid hypersecretory conditions
• Adjunct therapy in Helicobacter pylori eradication regimens, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 40 mg once daily, before a meal, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Duration of treatment depends on the condition being treated
Note: Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with severe liver impairment
• Long term use may increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, hypomagnesemia, or bone fractures
