DESCRIPTION
VENTACT Salbutamol Respules 1 mg per mL is a bronchodilator solution intended for inhalation via nebulizer. It contains salbutamol, a short acting beta 2 adrenergic agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles, resulting in rapid relief of bronchospasm and improved airflow in patients with obstructive airway diseases.

USES
• Relief and prevention of bronchospasm
• Bronchial asthma
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Acute asthma exacerbations
• Wheezing and reversible airway obstruction associated with chronic bronchitis or emphysema

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional
• Typical dosing:
o Adults and adolescents: 2.5 mg to 5 mg via nebulization, up to 3–4 times daily
o Children: Dose based on age and body weight
• For inhalation via nebulizer only
• Use immediately after opening the respule
• Do not swallow or inject

PRECAUTIONS

SIDE EFFECTS
• Tremors
