DESCRIPTION
BRODIX Salbutamol Nebule 1 mg per mL is a bronchodilator solution for inhalation via nebulizer. It contains salbutamol, a short acting beta 2 adrenergic agonist that works by relaxing bronchial smooth muscles, leading to rapid relief of bronchospasm and improved airflow in the lungs.

USES
• Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in:
o Bronchial asthma
o Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
o Chronic bronchitis and emphysema
• Treatment of acute asthma attacks
• Management of reversible airway obstruction and wheezing

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional
• Common dosing:
o Adults and adolescents: 2.5 mg to 5 mg via nebulization, up to 3–4 times daily
o Children: Dose based on age and weight, as prescribed
• Intended for inhalation via nebulizer only
• Use the contents immediately after opening the nebule
• Do not swallow or inject

PRECAUTIONS

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or seizure disorders

• Tremors

• Dizziness
