DESCRIPTION
TOZAM Losartan plus Amlodipine Film Coated Tablet 100 mg / 10 mg is a fixed dose combination antihypertensive medicine. Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that lowers blood pressure by preventing blood vessel constriction, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscles. This higher strength combination provides enhanced and sustained blood pressure control in patients requiring intensified therapy.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• For patients inadequately controlled on lower dose combination or single agent therapy
• Reduction of risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attack and stroke

DOSAGE
