DESCRIPTION
TOZAM Losartan plus Amlodipine Film Coated Tablet 100 mg / 5 mg is a fixed dose combination antihypertensive medication. Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that reduces calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle, causing vasodilation.
