DESCRIPTION
VYMADA Sacubitril + Valsartan Film Coated Tablet 100 mg is a combination medicine containing sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). This combination works by relaxing blood vessels, promoting sodium excretion, and reducing fluid overload, thereby improving heart function and decreasing strain on the heart.

USES
• Treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF)
• Reduction of risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization due to heart failure

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be as prescribed by a physician
• Common dose: 100 mg twice daily
• Dose may be adjusted based on patient tolerance and clinical response
• May be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew

PRECAUTIONS
• Contraindicated in patients with history of angioedema related to ACE inhibitors or ARBs
• Do not use concurrently with ACE inhibitors or within 36 hours of switching
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, liver disease, or low blood pressure
• Not recommended during pregnancy due to risk of fetal harm
• Breastfeeding should be avoided unless advised by a physician
• Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels is recommended
