DESCRIPTION
ATORVAST Atorvastatin Film Coated Tablet 20 mg contains atorvastatin calcium, a lipid lowering medication from the statin class. It works by inhibiting HMG CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. This helps lower total cholesterol, LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, and triglycerides, while increasing HDL (“good”) cholesterol, thereby reducing cardiovascular risk.

• Treatment of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol)
• Management of mixed dyslipidemia
• Reduction of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides

DOSAGE
• Adults: 10–20 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician

PRECAUTIONS
