DESCRIPTION
LODIBES Amlodipine Besilate Tablet 5mg contains amlodipine besilate, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels. This action improves blood flow, lowers blood pressure, and reduces the workload of the heart, helping to prevent chest pain and cardiovascular complications.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of angina pectoris (chronic stable or vasospastic angina)
• Helps prevent complications of high blood pressure such as heart attack and stroke

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Usual starting dose: 5mg once daily
o Dose may be increased up to 10mg once daily as directed by a physician
May be taken with or without food. Take at the same time each day.
