DESCRIPTION
ARCOXIA Etoricoxib Film Coated Tablet contains etoricoxib, a selective cyclo oxygenase 2 (COX 2) inhibitor non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It reduces pain and inflammation by selectively inhibiting COX 2, an enzyme involved in inflammatory processes, with less effect on COX 1 compared with traditional NSAIDs. The 120 mg strength is typically used for short term management of acute pain.

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 120 mg once daily
• Duration: Usually limited to the shortest possible period needed for symptom control
Tablet may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration
• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic impairment, or established cardiovascular disease (e.g., heart failure, ischemic heart disease)
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension, renal impairment, or history of gastrointestinal disorders
• Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and cardiovascular risk during therapy
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs
• Not recommended during pregnancy (especially third trimester) or breastfeeding unless clearly prescribed
• Discontinue and seek medical advice if chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, or speech disturbance occurs
