DESCRIPTION
BENEDEX Amoxicillin Trihydrate Powder for Suspension Drops 100 mg per 10 mL is a pediatric oral antibiotic formulation containing amoxicillin, a broad spectrum penicillin type antibiotic. After reconstitution with water, it forms an oral suspension used to treat various bacterial infections in infants and children by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.

• Respiratory tract infections
• Ear, nose, and throat infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Certain gastrointestinal and other susceptible bacterial infections
• Treatment of infections caused by amoxicillin sensitive organisms

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a physician based on the child’s age, weight, and severity of infection
• Common pediatric dosing is based on mg per kg body weight per day, divided into doses
• Shake well before each use
• Use a calibrated dropper for accurate dosing
