DESCRIPTION
BETADOL Carvedilol Tablet 25 mg contains carvedilol, a non selective beta adrenergic blocker with alpha 1 blocking activity. It works by slowing the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure, reduces cardiac workload, and improves heart function.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of chronic heart failure
• Treatment of left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction
• Reduction of cardiovascular risk as prescribed by a physician

DOSAGE
• Adults (Hypertension): Usually 12.5–25 mg once or twice daily, depending on patient response
• Heart failure: Dosage is started at a low dose and gradually increased under close medical supervision
Note: Carvedilol should be taken with food to reduce the risk of postural hypotension. Follow the physician’s instructions strictly.
