DESCRIPTION
BETAVERT Betahistine Dihydrochloride Tablet 8 mg contains betahistine dihydrochloride, a histamine analog with antivertigo properties. It works by improving microcirculation in the inner ear, reducing pressure in the endolymphatic system, and enhancing blood flow in the vestibular apparatus, thereby helping to relieve vertigo and associated symptoms.

USES
• Treatment of Ménière’s disease
• Management of vertigo of vestibular origin
• Relief of associated symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, nausea, and hearing disturbances
• Symptomatic treatment of balance disorders as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 8–16 mg taken two to three times daily, depending on severity and clinical response
Note: Dosage and duration are determined by a healthcare professional. Tablets are preferably taken with meals to reduce gastric discomfort. Therapeutic effect may take several weeks.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with bronchial asthma
• Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer disease or history of gastrointestinal bleeding
• Not recommended for patients with pheochromocytoma
