DESCRIPTION
COXIGEN Etoricoxib Film Coated Tablet contains etoricoxib, a selective cyclo oxygenase 2 (COX 2) inhibitor non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It reduces pain and inflammation by selectively inhibiting COX 2, an enzyme associated with inflammatory processes, while having less effect on COX 1 compared with traditional NSAIDs. The 120 mg strength is generally intended for short term management of acute pain.

• Acute pain and inflammation
• Acute gouty arthritis
• Acute musculoskeletal pain
• Post dental or post procedural pain
• Acute exacerbations of inflammatory conditions, as prescribed

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 120 mg once daily
• Duration: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary
Tablet may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water.

PRECAUTIONS
• Not recommended for long term continuous use at this strength
• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic impairment, or established cardiovascular disease
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension, renal impairment, or history of gastrointestinal disease
• Monitor blood pressure and renal function during treatment
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs
• Not recommended during pregnancy (especially third trimester) or breastfeeding unless clearly prescribed
• Discontinue and seek medical advice if chest pain, shortness of breath, severe weakness, or neurological symptoms occur
