DESCRIPTION
GLUZID Glipizide Tablet 5 mg is an oral antidiabetic medication belonging to the sulfonylurea class. It is intended for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus whose blood sugar is not adequately controlled by diet and exercise alone.

USES

DOSAGE
• Adults:
The usual starting dose is 2.5–5 mg once daily.
• 5 mg once daily may be used as a maintenance or adjusted dose based on blood glucose response.
• Take 30 minutes before breakfast or the first main meal of the day.
• Dosage should be individualized and adjusted only by a healthcare professional.
• Regular blood sugar monitoring is recommended during treatment.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not use if allergic to glipizide or other sulfonylureas
