DESCRIPTION
IRBENOX Irbesartan Film Coated Tablet 150 mg contains irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby allowing blood vessels to relax and lowering blood pressure. This also helps protect the kidneys and heart.

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)

DOSAGE
• Adults (Hypertension): Usually 150 mg once daily; may be increased to 300 mg once daily based on response
• Diabetic nephropathy: Common maintenance dose is 300 mg once daily, as directed by a physician
