DESCRIPTION
IRBEZYD H Irbesartan + Hydrochlorothiazide Tablet is a fixed dose combination antihypertensive medication. Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes and widens blood vessels, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps reduce excess fluid and sodium. Together, they provide enhanced blood pressure lowering effects compared with either agent alone.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Blood pressure control in patients inadequately controlled with monotherapy
• Reduction of cardiovascular risk associated with persistent hypertension
• Adjunct therapy in patients requiring combination antihypertensive treatment

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 1 tablet once daily
• Dose adjustment may be required based on blood pressure response and patient condition
Tablet may be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day.

PRECAUTIONS
• Contraindicated during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters
• Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, liver impairment, or dehydration
• Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes (especially potassium and sodium) regularly
• Avoid potassium supplements or potassium containing salt substitutes unless advised
• Thiazide diuretics may affect blood sugar and uric acid levels; use with caution in diabetes or gout

SIDE EFFECTS
