DESCRIPTION
MAXIVENT Doxofylline Tablet contains doxofylline, a xanthine derivative with bronchodilator properties. It helps relax the smooth muscles of the airways, improves airflow, and reduces airway resistance. Compared with older xanthines, doxofylline has a more favorable safety profile with fewer cardiovascular and central nervous system side effects.

USES
• Management of bronchial asthma
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Chronic bronchitis with bronchospasm
• Relief of breathing difficulty associated with obstructive airway diseases
• Adjunct therapy to improve lung function and airway patency

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 200 mg tablet 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed
• Children and adolescents: Dosage as determined by a healthcare professional
Tablets should be swallowed whole with water and may be taken with or without food.
