DESCRIPTION
NEBIL Nebivolol Hydrochloride Tablet contains nebivolol, a highly selective beta 1 adrenergic receptor blocker with additional vasodilatory properties mediated through nitric oxide release. It helps lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduces cardiac workload, and improves vascular function. The 2.5 mg strength is commonly used as a low starting dose, especially in elderly patients or those requiring careful dose titration.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Reduction of cardiovascular risk associated with hypertension
• Adjunct treatment in selected patients with chronic heart failure, as prescribed
• Initiation of therapy in patients sensitive to beta blockers

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 2.5 mg once daily
• Dose may be increased gradually based on blood pressure response and tolerability
Tablet may be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not discontinue abruptly; sudden withdrawal may worsen cardiac conditions
• Use with caution in patients with bradycardia, heart block, or heart failure
• Use with caution in patients with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia in diabetic patients
• Monitor blood pressure and heart rate regularly

SIDE EFFECTS
• Headache
