DESCRIPTION
OLMESAR40 Olmesartan Medoxomil Film Coated Tablet 40 mg contains olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It lowers blood pressure by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to AT₁ receptors, leading to vasodilation, reduced aldosterone secretion, and decreased peripheral resistance. This results in effective and sustained blood pressure control.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage associated with uncontrolled hypertension
• May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents (e.g., diuretics, calcium channel blockers)

DOSAGE
• Adults: One tablet (40 mg) once daily, with or without food, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional

PRECAUTIONS
