DESCRIPTION
ONECURE Rifampicin + Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Ethambutol Tablet 150 mg/75 mg/400 mg/275 mg is a fixed dose combination of four antitubercular medicines.
• Rifampicin inhibits bacterial RNA synthesis
• Isoniazid inhibits mycolic acid synthesis in the bacterial cell wall
• Pyrazinamide disrupts mycobacterial cell metabolism
• Ethambutol inhibits cell wall formation
This combination is used in the intensive phase of tuberculosis treatment to effectively eliminate Mycobacterium tuberculosis and reduce the risk of drug resistance.
