DESCRIPTION
VONWELT Isoniazid + Vitamin B6 Syrup 200 mg/60 mL contains isoniazid, a first line antitubercular agent, combined with pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6). Isoniazid works by inhibiting the synthesis of mycolic acids essential to the cell wall of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, while Vitamin B6 helps prevent isoniazid induced peripheral neuropathy. The syrup formulation is suitable for pediatric patients and those who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
