DESCRIPTION
TGP Metronidazole Syrup 125 mg/60 mL contains metronidazole, an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent effective against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. It works by disrupting DNA synthesis in susceptible organisms, leading to their elimination. The syrup formulation is suitable for pediatric patients and those who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

• Treatment of amoebiasis (intestinal and extra intestinal)
• Treatment of giardiasis and trichomoniasis
• Management of anaerobic bacterial infections
• Treatment of dental and oral infections caused by anaerobic bacteria
• Adjunct therapy in mixed bacterial infections, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Children: Dosage is based on age, body weight, and type of infection, as prescribed by a healthcare professional
