DESCRIPTION
TGP Co Amoxiclav Film Coated Tablet 1000 mg is a broad spectrum beta lactam antibiotic combination containing amoxicillin, a penicillin type antibacterial, and clavulanic acid, a beta lactamase inhibitor. Clavulanic acid extends the antibacterial activity of amoxicillin by protecting it from degradation by beta lactamase producing bacteria.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including:
o Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
o Ear, nose, and throat infections
o Urinary tract infections
o Skin and soft tissue infections
o Dental infections
o Bone and joint infections

DOSAGE
• Adults: One tablet (1000 mg) every 12 hours, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Tablets should be taken at the start of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal side effects
• Dosage and duration depend on the type and severity of infection
• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve

PRECAUTIONS
• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, or beta lactam antibiotics
