DESCRIPTION
TGP Gabapentin Capsule 100 mg contains gabapentin, an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent. Although structurally related to gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), gabapentin does not act directly on GABA receptors. It works by modulating calcium channel activity in the central nervous system, thereby reducing abnormal nerve excitability and pain signal transmission.

USES
• Management of neuropathic pain (e.g., diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia)
• Adjunct treatment of partial (focal) seizures with or without secondary generalization
• Relief of nerve related pain conditions, as prescribed
• Other neurological conditions as directed by a healthcare professional

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Starting dose is usually 100–300 mg once daily, gradually increased based on tolerance and clinical response
o Maintenance dose is individualized and given in divided doses
Note: Dosage adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment. Do not stop treatment abruptly without medical advice.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment; dose adjustment may be required
