DESCRIPTION
TGP Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Film Coated Tablet 5 mg contains levocetirizine dihydrochloride, a second generation antihistamine. It works by selectively blocking histamine H1 receptors, thereby relieving allergic symptoms with minimal sedative effect compared to first generation antihistamines.

USES
• Treatment of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
• Management of urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions
• Relief of sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion
• Relief of itchy or watery eyes
• Control of allergy related itching

DOSAGE
• Usual adult and adolescent dose (≥12 years): 5 mg once daily
• Preferably taken in the evening
• May be taken with or without food
• Dosage adjustment may be required in patients with renal impairment
• Follow the dosage as prescribed by a healthcare professional
