DESCRIPTION
TGP Omeprazole Capsule 20 mg contains omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that decreases stomach acid production by inhibiting the gastric proton pump. It helps relieve symptoms of acid related disorders and supports healing of the stomach and esophagus.

USES
• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Management of peptic ulcer disease
• Healing of erosive esophagitis
• Part of combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication
• Prevention and treatment of NSAID associated gastric ulcers

DOSAGE
• Usual adult dose: 20 mg once daily
• To be taken before meals, preferably in the morning
• Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew
• Duration of treatment should be as prescribed by a physician

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with liver impairment
• Long term use may be associated with vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium levels, or increased fracture risk
• May mask symptoms of serious gastric disease; consult a doctor if symptoms persist
• Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Inform the doctor of all other medications being taken
