DESCRIPTION
TGP Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Enteric Coated Tablet 200 mcg contains tamsulosin HCl, a selective alpha 1A adrenergic receptor blocker. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing urinary obstruction. The enteric coated formulation helps protect the stomach and ensures appropriate drug release.

USES
• Treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Relief of urinary symptoms such as difficulty starting urination, weak urine stream, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying
• Improvement of urine flow in men with prostate enlargement

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 200 mcg once daily, taken after the same meal each day, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional
Note: Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or split.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with low blood pressure or postural hypotension
• May cause dizziness or fainting, especially after the first dose
• Caution in patients with severe liver impairment
• Inform the doctor before cataract or glaucoma surgery (risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome)
• Not intended for use in women or children
• Use caution when taken with other blood pressure–lowering medicines
