DESCRIPTION
TIMOVATE Clobetasol Propionate Cream 0.05% contains clobetasol propionate, a very potent topical corticosteroid. It works by suppressing inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching associated with severe steroid responsive skin conditions. The cream formulation is suitable for short term use on inflamed, non occluded skin areas.

USES
• Treatment of severe inflammatory skin conditions responsive to corticosteroids
• Psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis)
• Severe eczema and dermatitis
• Lichen planus and lichen simplex chronicus
• Discoid lupus erythematosus
• Other severe steroid responsive dermatoses, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily
Note: Use for short term treatment only, usually not exceeding 1–2 weeks, unless advised by a healthcare professional. Apply the minimum amount required to control symptoms.

PRECAUTIONS
• For external use only
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
• Do not apply to large body areas or use under occlusion unless prescribed
• Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin thinning, adrenal suppression, or rebound flare
• Use with extreme caution on the face, groin, or underarms
• Not recommended for children unless under strict medical supervision
• Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if no improvement occurs within the recommended treatment period
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use only if clearly prescribed

SIDE EFFECTS
• Burning or stinging sensation at application site
• Skin irritation or dryness
• Skin thinning or stretch marks with prolonged use
• Hypopigmentation
• Folliculitis
• Rarely, systemic corticosteroid effects with excessive or prolonged use
Stop treatment and seek medical advice if severe irritation or signs of skin infection occur.
