DESCRIPTION
XYLAX Levodropropizine Syrup 30 mg per 5 mL is a peripherally acting antitussive (cough suppressant). Levodropropizine works by inhibiting cough reflexes at the peripheral level, particularly by reducing sensory nerve stimulation in the respiratory tract, without depressing the central nervous system. It is suitable for both adults and children as prescribed.

USES
• Symptomatic relief of dry, non productive cough
• Cough associated with upper and lower respiratory tract infections
• Irritative cough due to bronchitis, tracheitis, or other non productive causes
• Night time cough when mucus production is minimal

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional
• General dosing guidelines:
o Adults: 10 mL up to three times daily
o Children: Dose based on age and body weight, as prescribed
• Administer doses at least 6 hours apart
• Shake well before use
• Use a calibrated measuring cup or spoon
• Do not exceed the recommended dose

• Not recommended for productive cough with excessive mucus
