DESCRIPTION
TGP Diclofenac Film Coated Tablet 100 mg contains diclofenac, a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling. The film coated formulation helps improve gastrointestinal tolerability and ease of swallowing.

USES
• Relief of mild to moderate pain
• Treatment of inflammatory conditions such as:
o Osteoarthritis
o Rheumatoid arthritis
o Ankylosing spondylitis
• Relief of muscle and joint pain
• Management of back pain
• Relief of post operative or post traumatic pain
• Treatment of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Usual dose: 100 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
• Take preferably after meals to reduce stomach irritation
• Swallow tablet whole with water
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Not recommended for patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe heart, kidney, or liver disease
• Use with caution in elderly patients
• Increased risk of cardiovascular events with long term or high dose use
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs unless advised
• Discontinue use and seek medical advice if pain persists or worsens
