DESCRIPTION
ANGIMET Metoprolol Film Coated Tablet 50mg contains metoprolol, a selective beta 1 adrenergic blocker. It works by reducing heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure, thereby decreasing the workload of the heart. It is commonly used in the management of cardiovascular conditions and helps improve heart function.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of angina pectoris
• Control of heart rate in arrhythmias
• Secondary prevention after myocardial infarction (heart attack)

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Usual dose: 50–100mg daily, taken once or in divided doses, or as directed by a physician

Take with or immediately after meals. Swallow tablet whole with water.
