DESCRIPTION
DICLOFEN Diclofenac Tablet 50 mg contains diclofenac, a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling. Diclofenac is commonly used for short term relief of various painful and inflammatory conditions.

USES
• Relief of mild to moderate pain
• Treatment of inflammatory conditions such as:
o Osteoarthritis
o Rheumatoid arthritis
o Ankylosing spondylitis
• Relief of muscle and joint pain
• Management of back pain
• Relief of post traumatic or post operative pain
• Treatment of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o 1 tablet (50 mg) 2–3 times daily, or as directed by a physician
• Take preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal irritation
• Swallow tablet whole with water
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Not recommended for patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe heart, kidney, or liver disease
• Use with caution in elderly patients
• Increased risk of cardiovascular events with prolonged or high dose use
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs unless advised
• Discontinue use and seek medical advice if pain persists or worsens
