DESCRIPTION
AZEPRIL Enalapril Tablet 5 mg contains enalapril, an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, helping to lower blood pressure and reduce the workload on the heart.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of congestive heart failure
• Improvement of survival after myocardial infarction
• Protection of kidney function in patients with diabetes and hypertension, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults (Hypertension): Usually 5–20 mg once daily, adjusted according to patient response
• Heart failure: Lower starting dose with gradual titration as directed by a physician

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or electrolyte imbalance
