DESCRIPTION
BACTREAT B Mupirocin + Betamethasone Ointment is a topical combination medicine containing mupirocin, a potent antibacterial agent effective against susceptible skin bacteria, and betamethasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching. The ointment formulation allows prolonged contact with the skin for localized treatment of infected inflammatory dermatoses.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial skin infections with inflammation, such as:
o Infected eczema
o Impetigo
o Infected insect bites
o Secondary bacterial infection of dermatitis
• Relief of associated itching, redness, swelling, and irritation
• Management of inflamed dermatoses with bacterial involvement, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional
• Clean and dry the affected area before application
• Use for the shortest effective duration as advised

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not apply to large areas, broken skin, or open wounds unless directed
• Avoid use on the face, groin, or armpits unless prescribed
• Prolonged use of corticosteroid may cause skin thinning or discoloration
