CLOXANE Cloxacillin Capsule 500mg
DESCRIPTION

CLOXANE contains Cloxacillin 500 mg, a penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, particularly penicillin-resistant staphylococci. It works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls, resulting in the elimination of bacteria.

USES
Skin and soft tissue infections
Infected wounds and abscesses
Respiratory tract infections
Bone and joint infections
Bloodstream infections (septicemia)
Endocarditis
Other bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms
DOSAGE
Adults: 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 hours, or as prescribed by a physician.
Take on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use if allergic to cloxacillin, penicillin, or cephalosporin antibiotics.
Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, or a history of allergies.
Take exactly as prescribed.
Long-term use may require monitoring by a healthcare professional.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
