DESCRIPTION
FUNGBY Fluconazole Capsule 150 mg contains fluconazole, a triazole antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting fungal cytochrome P450–dependent enzymes, thereby disrupting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This leads to impaired fungal cell growth and elimination of susceptible fungi.

USES
• Treatment of vaginal candidiasis
• Treatment of oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis
• Treatment of systemic and mucocutaneous fungal infections caused by Candida species
• Treatment of cryptococcal infections, including cryptococcal meningitis, as prescribed
• Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients, as directed by a physician

DOSAGE
• Vaginal candidiasis: A single dose of 150 mg
• Other fungal infections: Dosage and treatment duration depend on the type and severity of infection, as prescribed by a healthcare professional
Note: Take with or without food. Follow the prescribed regimen strictly.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment
• Monitor liver function during prolonged therapy
