DESCRIPTION
TGP Glimepiride Tablet 4 mg is an oral antidiabetic medicine belonging to the sulfonylurea class. It works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin and by improving the body’s response to insulin, thereby helping to lower and control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

USES
• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood glucose control

DOSAGE
• Adults:
The usual starting dose is 1–2 mg once daily, which may be gradually increased based on blood glucose response.
• 4 mg once daily may be prescribed as a maintenance or adjusted dose.

PRECAUTIONS
