DESCRIPTION
GLIMRYL 3 Glimepiride Tablet 3 mg contains glimepiride, a sulfonylurea class oral antidiabetic agent. It works by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas and improving insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues, thereby helping lower blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

USES
• Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Glycemic control when diet and exercise alone are insufficient
• May be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents or insulin, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 1–4 mg once daily, taken with breakfast or the first main meal
• Starting dose: Often 1 mg once daily, adjusted gradually based on blood glucose response

PRECAUTIONS
