DESCRIPTION
LOSARITE Losartan Potassium + Hydrochlorothiazide Tablet 50 mg / 12.5 mg is a fixed dose combination antihypertensive medicine. Losartan potassium is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps remove excess salt and water from the body. The combination provides enhanced blood pressure lowering effects compared with either agent alone.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy
