DESCRIPTION
TGP Felodipine Extended Release Tablet 5 mg contains felodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing and widening peripheral blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart. The extended release formulation allows gradual drug release for sustained blood pressure control over 24 hours.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Long term control of blood pressure to reduce cardiovascular risk
• Management of hypertension as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 5 mg once daily
