DESCRIPTION
PIOGEN Pioglitazone Tablet 30 mg is an oral antidiabetic medication belonging to the thiazolidinedione class. It improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues such as muscle and adipose tissue and decreases hepatic glucose production, thereby helping to control blood glucose levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

USES
• Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Improves glycemic control when used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic agents (e.g., metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin)
• Helps reduce insulin resistance as part of a comprehensive diabetes care plan including diet and exercise

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional
• Usual adult dose: 15 mg to 30 mg once daily
• May be increased up to 45 mg once daily depending on patient response
• Can be taken with or without food
• Regular monitoring of blood glucose is recommended

PRECAUTIONS
