DESCRIPTION
ZEMDIL Diltiazem Hydrochloride Film Coated Tablet 30 mg is a calcium channel blocker used to manage cardiovascular conditions. Diltiazem works by inhibiting calcium influx into cardiac and vascular smooth muscle cells, resulting in relaxation of blood vessels, reduced heart rate, and decreased myocardial oxygen demand.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Treatment of angina pectoris (chronic stable angina and variant angina)
• Control of certain supraventricular arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter (as prescribed)
• Reduction of cardiac workload and improvement of blood flow

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Typical adult dose: 30 mg taken 3 to 4 times daily
• Dose may be adjusted based on clinical response and patient condition
• Tablets should be swallowed whole with water
