DESCRIPTION
ROSTAR Rosuvastatin Film Coated Tablet 5 mg is a lipid lowering medication belonging to the statin (HMG CoA reductase inhibitor) class. It works by inhibiting cholesterol synthesis in the liver, resulting in reduced levels of low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides, and increased high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol.
