DESCRIPTION
TGP Atorvastatin Film Coated Tablet 80 mg contains atorvastatin, a potent lipid lowering agent from the statin class (HMG CoA reductase inhibitors). It works by inhibiting cholesterol synthesis in the liver, leading to significant reduction in total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL), and triglycerides, while increasing high density lipoprotein (HDL). The 80 mg strength is used for intensive lipid lowering therapy.

• Treatment of hypercholesterolemia
• Management of mixed dyslipidemia
• Reduction of very high LDL cholesterol levels

DOSAGE

PRECAUTIONS

SIDE EFFECTS
