DESCRIPTION
TGP Losartan Potassium + Amlodipine Film Coated Tablet 50 mg/5 mg is a fixed dose combination of losartan potassium, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Losartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II, while amlodipine widens blood vessels by inhibiting calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle. Together, they provide synergistic blood pressure control and improved cardiovascular protection.
