Chondroitin is a naturally occurring substance made from sugar chains. It is used to help the body maintain fluids and keep the flexibility in our joints. Glucosamine, on the other hand, is a sugar protein that is used by our bodies to build cartilage. Glucosamine is naturally found in our bones, bone marrow, in shellfish, and in fungus (like mushrooms). When combined, these two are mainly used to treat osteoarthritis pain.

How much and how often should you use the product?
Glucosamine and chondroitin capsules are taken orally. Your doctor will inform you of the right dosage or number of capsules you should be taking each day based on your age, overall health, and medical conditions.
It is recommended that you should take one capsule every day. Again, consult with your doctor for the appropriate dose.
Do not use different formulations of glucosamine and chondroitin (such as tablets, liquids, and others) at the same time unless specifically told to by your physician. Using different formulations at the same time increases your chance of an overdose.
