Description:
It is given by mouth as the bisulfate, but doses are expressed in terms of the base. The dose is 75mg once daily. Clopidogrel is limited to patients at risk of increased bleeding from trauma, surgery, or other pathological conditions; ulcer; renal and hepatic impairment, history of bleeding or haemostatic disorders and pregnancy. Dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, constipation, gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, GI upset, diarrhea, parathesia, vertigo, headache, pruritus and rashes. Potentially life-threatening adverse drug reactions: Bleeding disorders including gastrointestinal and intracranial haemorrhage. Blood dyscrasias.Data sheet
